Description
My research investigates how artificial intelligence is reshaping human creativity from ethical, philosophical, and social perspectives. As AI tools increasingly enter artistic and cultural practice, they raise critical questions about agency, authorship, trust, inclusion, and creative autonomy. Rather than asking whether AI replaces human creativity, this research examines how creativity becomes a relational, tool-mediated process in which humans adapt, negotiate control, and build resilience within automated systems.
Using participatory social science methods, the research brings together artists, technologists, students, and community creators in co-creative workshops and dialogue sessions. These engagements explore how people actually experience AI as a creative partner and how values such as fairness, transparency, accessibility, and sustainability shape creative practice.
This research aims to generate real-world impact by: 1) Building AI literacy and ethical capacity in creative communities; 2) Supporting inclusive access to creative tools and networks; 3) Developing practical resources for responsible human-AI co-creation; 4) Creating a network of creatives engaged in critical dialogue about AI.
By translating social science research into practical frameworks, public engagement, and collaborative practice, the project contributes to cultural, educational, and policy debates about how AI should be developed and used in society.
