Layman's description

This project seeks to advance the UK’s Future of Flight Action Plan by convening cross-sector partners, fostering public dialogue, and delivering innovation in governance for safe, equitable, and effective AAM deployment.

Key findings

Established a new working group on Governing Responsible Autonomous Air Mobility (AAM), by convening cross sector founding members.

Coproduced an executive report with working group members and developed a novel framework and toolkit for conceptualising persistent barriers to responsible AAM deployment – the Drone Trilemma.

Developed a policy brief and infographic raising awareness of the Trilemma framework as a toolkit, building capacity for evidence-based policy recommendations supporting urgent national policy targets, such as Beyond Visible Line of Sight (BVLOS) routine operations by 2027.
