Social Science Accelerator: Increasing Access to the Mini-MANS-LD quality of life measure for people with learning disabilities

This project developed an online version of the Mini-MANS-LD (Raczka, Theodore & Williams, 2020) quality of life self-report measure for people with learning disabilities, and an accompanying website to make the resource more accessible to service users, supporters and professionals working with people with learning disabilities: https://meetmyneeds.org/

- A computer science student was recruited via RHUL’s Code Breakers to develop the website using Word Press and online version of the Mini-MANS-LD using Qualtrics
- Focus groups were conducted with people with learning disabilities
- Website shared with over 1000 professionals working with people with learning disabilities.
- Survey feedback on website received from professionals
- Feedback from people with learning disabilities and professionals was positive.
- The feedback was used to further develop the website and online questionnaire
