New Photonic Architectures with High Dynamic Range using GaAs Modulators for Aviation Industry Applications

I worked as a PhD student researcher under the supervision of Dr. Shyqyri Haxha, on a NATEP project during the second year of my PhD degree. The project was primarily about the implementation of a novel design of GaAs electrooptic modulator for the application of aerospace and defence. My key role on this project was to implement a simulation model of the modulator for the optimisation and testing of the design.
