Neural Mechanisms of Oculomotor Learning Over the Life-Course

Studying human brain regions during the process of learning using both classical and instrumental contingencies, specifically considering the role of the prefrontal cortex during instrumental conditioning. This will be studied within adults and an elderly adult sample, to confirm the effect of age upon both the behavioural and the neuroimaging data. Finally an eye tracking study will be run in a driving simulator, looking to apply learning techniques to improve upon oculomotor and attentional deficits when driving.
