Description
Organised criminal groups (OCGs) are estimated to be responsible for annual economic losses of more than £47 billion in the UK alone. However, OCGs’ harm goes beyond the economy. The social implications of these groups’ activities are even more consequential, albeit more difficult to conceptualise and quantify.
This Knowledge Exchange Forum constitutes an opportunity to probe into these complex dynamics and share insights, strategies, and best practices from practitioners and psychological disciplines. By bringing together law enforcement, charity workers and scholars, we aim to foster a comprehensive understanding of the roots of public tolerance towards OCGs and identify innovative approaches to building community resilience.
