Investigating the development of musical cue weighting

Music and speech are complex signals that can be expressed and perceived via changes in
multiple acoustic cues, like pitch and timing. Perception of sounds from these two domains could therefore be carried out by combining these cues in different ways. This project explores how people combine acoustic cues to speech and music, and whether the way we combine information changes over the course of development.
