Description

This report sets out the results of a research project that concluded the training year of the four-year PhD programme with the Centre for Doctoral Training in Cyber Security for the Everyday. The report examines the relationship between cyber threat intelligence (CTI) and counterintelligence. Broadly, my conclusion is that there are parallels between aspects of CTI and counterintelligence but that these are not usually made explicit by CTI practitioners. I set out some possible reasons why this might be the case, along with avenues for future research into this topic. I would particularly welcome engagement from CTI practitioners and others in the CTI industry on this topic.
