Description
Gorchakov’s Wish explores a theory and practice of the film-image through specific engagement with the work of acclaimed Russian filmmaker Andrei Tarkovsky. Taking the final three scenes from his film Nostalghia (1983) as a site, we engage with its material and symbolic qualities, transforming and translating these in and through our own creative practice.
