Enhancing Biopesticide Research and Service for Sustainable Pest Management in Africa

Project: Research

Project Details

Description

Using pesticidal plants as an alternative pest management has gained traction over the past decades due to the negative impacts posed by synthetic pesticides. Despite pesticidal plants have been heavily used across the continent, knowledge of their use and effectiveness is sparse.
This study aims to identify and systematically map published and unpublished research to address the primary objective of describing and mapping research that investigates the use of pesticidal plants in Africa over the past 10 years.
