Description

How can we improve food recycling and management of its waste? This project aimed at improving understandings about food and its waste in the Royal Holloway University campus in Egham. Through food audits, interviews and some systems thinking modelling, we were able to capture a circular economy existing process and envision a future scenario which could help the university articulate existing policies and strategies towards meeting its zero waste targets.

-There are initiatives to improve food consumption and recycling
-These initiatives, and people working in them, could increase their collaborations
-Anaerobic digestion is a valuable technology that needs better understanding by stakeholders if it is to help improve food recycling and learning
