'Connected Clerics. Building a Universal Church in the Late Antique West' (ERC-Starting Grant, €1,465,316)

This project uses network analysis and new institutional theory to study the construction of the institutional structure of the late Antique church. I head a team of seven members: two postdoctoral researchers, two PhD students, one back-end and one front-end software developer, and one dissemination coordinator. We are currently working on several academic publications and developing a geographical platform that will facilitate the analysis and visualization of historical and fragmentary evidence.
