Behaviour Change: an AI-based approach for Information Security

The question that this project attempts to answer, in relation with the development of a tool with SecurMind, is which conditions are necessary for individuals to follow specific information security behaviours. Potentially, these behaviours are different from the ones adopted by individuals, and thus, behaviour change is the goal.

The project is a collaboration with the London-based startup company SecurMind. It provides a solution for changing user behaviour with regards to cyber security. The project output includes an AI-based prototype to assist users with cyber security decisions.

Outputs of the project are:
i) a theoretical framework for behaviour change in an information security environment, and
ii) an AI-based prototype tool which analyses information security policies and communicates with users.
Further development includes additional proactive interventions and advice to users.
