Briony engaged with multiple stakeholders over a long period of time, resulting in the scale of her impact being widely spread in the local community. Briony demonstrates strong potential for leadership in the field, working with community groups at all levels (schools / councils etc..).

In addition, this engagement with the community, is placed locally with organisations near Royal Holloway, cementing the civic purpose of the University. To extend her impact further, it is impressive how Briony plans to bring her impact to campus, to upskill the workers here, which demonstrates she is thinking about impact externally and within her own institution. Briony’s project is an excellent example of outstanding impact by an ECR.
