Winner of the 2026 Outstanding Article Award (Scholarly-Oriented) by the Organization Development and Change Division, American Academy of Management, for my article entitled “Applying event system theory to organizational change: The importance of everyday positive and negative events.” Co-authors include Tina Kiefer, Warwick Business School, and Laurie Barclay, University of Guelph.
The ODC Division’s Outstanding ODC-Related Article Award recognizes two exceptional articles published in the prior calendar year that advance the field of Organizational Development and Change. Specifically, the award honors one scholarly-oriented article and one practitioner-oriented article that demonstrate strong evidence-based or conceptual contributions, introduce innovative insights or approaches, and show clear potential to influence future research, practice, or both within ODC.
