Personal profile

Personal profile

I am a Lecturer within the Department of Digital Innovation Management, with a focus on supply chain & operations management in the context of the circular economy.

Returning to academia as a mature student, I completed my PhD at the University of Cambridge in the physical sciences and continued as a researcher sponsored by BP. I then switched to the social sciences, joining Cardiff Business School to deliver collaborative research projects with industrial partners in the domain of supply chain & operations management, resilience and strategy. Further research projects sponsored by the Welsh Government included inter-organisational collaboration to stimulate sector growth and investigating circular economy strategies.

I previously worked as a project engineer for Jaguar Land Rover at their product development and manufacturing facilities. I then moved into a procurement role for Toro UK with the remit of re-engineering the global supply chain to reduce risk while improving cost, quality and schedule adherence.
