Taimur Mirza

I have recently completed my PhD in Electronics Engineering with a focus on the elimination of distortion products in the analogue photonic link of Radio over fibre system. The core focus of my research has been on the improvement of system’s dynamic range for various applications such as downconversion, upconversion, Multi-octave link, and high bandwidth wireless and radar signal processing in Optical domain. The novel contributions have been submitted for journal publications and for Patent applications, which were supported by the industry. During my research, I have received research grants of £8000 from Leonardo MW UK and £10,500 from the National Aerospace Technology Exploitation Programme (NATEP). My current research interests are in Photonics, Optical communication, and Power & control systems.
