Dr. Sungkyu Lim is a lecturer in Financial Management and Quantitative Methods in the Royal Holloway Business School, Royal Holloway, University of London. His research is distinguished by its interdisciplinary approach, integrating financial management, tourism economics, psychology, and cultural studies. His primary scholarly focus lies in examining herding behaviour within financial markets, consumer behaviour among tourists, and dynamics within creative and cultural industries. Dr. Lim has published in leading and influential academic journals.

Teaching

Dr. Sungkyu Lim is committed to fostering intellectual engagement through his teaching, aiming to stimulate students' interest and promote active participation. His pedagogical approach is designed to cultivate intrinsically motivated learning environments that empower students to take ownership of their academic development.

He has taught a wide range of modules, including Quantitative Skills for Accounting and Finance, Introduction to Finance, Corporate Finance, International Financial Markets (PGT), and Research Methods (PGT).
