Professor Steve Peers is a professor of EU and human rights law at Royal Holloway, University of London. His fields research include EU law, human rights law and international trade law - particularly EU constitutional law, EU justice and home affairs law, EU immigration and asylum law, EU criminal law, EU external relations law (including Brexit), EU tech law and EU employment and discrimination law. He edits the EU Law Analysis blog, which supplies critical analysis of EU law and policy developments as they are unfolding. His scholarly works include EU Justice and Home Affairs Law (5 editions), European Union Law (4 editions, co-edited with Catherine Barnard) and The EU Charter of Fundamental Rights, A Commentary (2 editions, co-edited with Tamara Hervey, Jeff Kenner and Angela Ward).
