I am a doctoral researcher at Royal Holloway, University of London. As a doctoral researcher, my academic pursuits are deeply rooted in my extensive professional experience in the localisation, IT, and financial services industries, where I served as a project manager leading diverse, multicultural teams. My research interests are inspired by the rich dynamics and challenges I encountered in these global industries, particularly the role of multicultural subgroups in driving innovation and enhancing team performance.

My current research investigates the intricate interplay of diversity and innovation in multicultural teams. Specifically, I am exploring: 

  • How multicultural subgroups interact within teams to influence group dynamics and outcomes. 
  • Strategies for leveraging diversity to enhance team innovation and effectiveness. 
  • Best practices for leadership in multicultural settings, emphasizing inclusion, equity, and collaboration. 

By bridging practical insights with theoretical frameworks, my work aims to contribute to both academic literature and industry practices, offering actionable strategies for organisations to maximise the potential of multicultural teams.

My professional journey spans over a decade in the localisation, IT, and financial services sectors, where I excelled in managing complex, cross-functional projects. Key achievements include:

By uncovering insights into how diverse subgroups collaborate, I aim to enhance team performance, foster creativity, and contribute to the development of inclusive workplaces.

In addition to my research, I am committed to sharing my expertise through teaching, mentorship, and collaboration with industry professionals to bridge the gap between academic inquiry and real-world application.
