My PhD research focuses on GHG fluxes (CH4 & CO2) from natural sources and sinks, including forests, wetlands and peatlands.
Through implementing GHG flux measurement techniques at different spatial and temporal scales, my research aims to quantify and constrain drivers of natural methane flux. This includes automatic and manual chamber measurements in an upland forest (Alice Holt, Forest Research) and wet woodland (Wakehurst, Kew Gardens), and aircraft measurements of regional peatland CH4 emisisons (Flow Country, Scotland).
