Research interests
Dr. Saffet Uygur's research focuses on fraud, forensic accounting, accountability, not-forprofit sector, stakeholder engagement.
Teaching and Work Experience
Dr Saffet Uygur is a Lecturer in Accounting and Reporting since 2020. Saffet holds a Bachelor of Economics (Hons), two Master of Science (Internatioanal Relations; Law and Accounting) and a PhD (Accounting).
Before entering academia, Saffet worked as an auditor at EY, Turkiye and worked as an expert on EU funded projects.
Saffet has lectured in financial accounting, management accounting and financial reporting, at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning and a Higher Education Academy fellowship.
Saffet is accepting PhD students.
