Research interests

Roxy Moore is a historian of modern Europe with a specific interest in the history of humanitarianism. Roxy is a member of the Holocaust Research Institute at Royal Holloway, University of London, where she is currently undertaking a Techne-funded collaborative PhD (with The Wiener Holocaust Library) writing a history of the Jewish Committee for Relief Abroad. Roxy is the author of the Wiener Library's educational website, The Holocaust Explained, and worked for many years as the Library's Digital Education Officer. Roxy's research interests include Anglo-Jewish history (and specifically Anglo-Jewish humanitarianism), postwar humanitarianism, British responses to the Holocaust and the Roma Genocide.
