Dr Robert Lee is a Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor in entrepreneurship and innovation within the School of Business and Management - Royal Holloway, University of London.
He was previously a member of the Advanced Institute of Management AIM Scholars Pool and his research has been funded by the British Academy/Leverhulme Trust Small Grants scheme and Economic and Social Research Council ESRC Annual Festival of Social Science scheme. He has published widely in journals including, International Small Business Journal, Entrepreneurship and Regional Development, International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behaviour and Research and Environment and Planning C. His research published in Multinational Business Review won an award for most outstanding paper in the Emerald Literati Awards.
In addition, Robert has delivered a live YouTube webinar for the International Social Capital Association, regularly collaborates with the Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship, University of Strathclyde and is a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce RSA, and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy HEA. Also, he has significant experience with AACSB accreditation and served as Director, Chair of Assurance of Learning (AoL) - May, 2019 to May, 2023.
Robert has a well established track record of successfully supervising doctoral students to timely completion and is interested in supervising doctoral research that inquires into the entrepreneurial and innovation process. He is currently principal, lead supervisor for the following doctoral candidates: Festus Louis (part-time); Noor Allouzi (full-time); Ashiq Al Feardous (full-time); Mohammad Albanai (full-time); and Awab Zarei (full-time). And second supervisor for the following doctoral candidate: Omar Alzahmi (full-time).
