Personal profile

Personal profile

I am a Lecturer in Psychology at Royal Holloway, University of London. I received my PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience from Cardiff University in 2021. Shortly therafter, I moved to McGill University (Montreal, Canada) to undertake a postdoctoral position with Professor M. Natasha Rajah. During this period, I received a Postdoctoral Fellowship from the Canadian Consortium on Neurodegeneration in Aging (CCNA). I joined Royal Holloway in August 2025, where I am now seeking to expand my research on the cognitive neuroscience of ageing.

Research interests

Broadly speaking, my research seeks to understand how the brain changes with age, the implications that these changes have for cognition (especially memory), and factors that contribute to risk/reslience to late-life cognitive decline. This work relies primarily on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) methods.

I am currently exploring research opportunities centered around midlife and menopause. If this sounds interesting to you, please get in touch!

Teaching

I am the module coordinator for PS2120 (How Can Psychology Change the World: Clinical and Neuroscientific Perspectives), and I lecture on PS3061 (Ageing Brain). Additionally, I supervise final-year undergraduate projects on topics related to my research interests.
