Personal profile

I am an Associate Professor in Information Security at Royal Holloway, University of London, specialising in digital forensics, cybercrime investigation and incident response.

My research focuses on improving the reliability and effectiveness of digital investigations, with particular interests in data recovery from digital devices, forensic intelligence, and the security implications of emerging technologies. My work expands on applied research projects that strengthen investigative capability and address real-world cyber security challenges.

I teach digital forensics at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and serve as Editor-in-Chief of the Information Security Journal: A Global Perspective.

I welcome PhD students interested in digital forensics, cybercrime investigation, incident response, and related areas of cyber security.
