    Research interests

    Sisters; epic (especially Virgil, Ovid, and the Flavians); myth; the representation of space in literature (especially geography and maps).

    Teaching

    In the academic year 2022/23, I am lecturing on the first year modules Greek Literature in Term 1 and Roman Literature of the Empire in Term 2. I am also teaching Beginners Latin and Intermediate Latin in both terms, and the second year, second term module Ovid's Metamorphoses: Art and Power in Augustan Rome. Alongside these modules, I am supervising several extended essays and second-year projects in Terms 1 and 2, and I am involved in the Foundation Year programme in Term 3.

    Educational background

    I did my BA studies in my hometown of Thessaloniki, in Greece, with one semester as an Erasmus student in Florence, Italy. I then came to the UK where I completed my MPhil at Cambridge and my PhD at Durham.

    Other work

    I am also a tutor in Classical languages and literatures at City Lit, a Further Education college based in Central London.
