Nausheen Shahid

With over more than 6 years of academic experience at university level and 2 years of industry experience I always aspire to acquire knowledge while working zealously and enthusiastically with motivation of exercising modern techniques, improve educational standard and fulfil ambitions of meeting my potential while working in a renowned educational institute.

SCHOLARSHIPS AND ACHIEVEMENTS:

• Won highly competitive HEC scholarship “HRD Initiative-MS Leading to Ph.D. Program of Faculty Development for UESTPs/UETs Phase-I” for PhD studies under supervision of highly accomplished supervisor and researcher of agents's field Prof. Dr. Kostas Stathis.
• Got Third position in MS computer software engineering course work.
• Top position holder in the class in BS (CS) session 2002-fall 2006 from International Islamic University Islamabad Pakistan.
• Based on CGPA, got offer of Mega IT Scholarship for MS leading to PhD from NUST in every semester of Master’s Degree.
• Offered Merit Scholarship for MS leading to Phd from Higher Education Commission, Pakistan during MS degree program.
• Got Scholarship on open merit and completed BS Computer Science with distinction for First Position in all the semesters.
• Winner of “National Talent Scholarship” in Annual Board Examination 2002 Intermediate for securing eighth position in my group in Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Rawalpindi, Pakistan.
• did my MS research in co-supervision of a foreign supervisor Dr. Eng. Andreas Symeonidis of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.
• Won national ICT R&D funding for the project titled “Prediction based website for admission management in 2015”

WORKSHOPS:

          Participated in a 1 week training workshop for teaching and learning including Pedagogical techniques for higher education environments with the University of Texas, Austin’s South Institute and the UT Global Initiative for Education and Leadership in the College of Liberal Arts in April, 2016.

          Participated in an extensive teaching training of 1 month, named “Professional Competency Enhancement Program for teachers” arranged by Higher Education Commission Pakistan in Sept, 2013.

SOCIETIES MANAGED:

             Remained Focal person of  Character Building and Young Female Entrepreneurs Societies Of Computer Science Department Faitma Jinnah Women University.
