PhD student working on particle acclerator simulations for radiobiological experiments.
My current work focuses on the design for LhARA, the Laser-hybrid Accelerator for Radiobiological Applications, with specific attention to beam profile uniformity for the low energy Stage 1 beamline.
My simulations are mostly carried out in Beam Delivery Simulation (BDSIM), a C++ program that utilises the Geant4 toolkit to simulate both the transport of particles in an accelerator and their interaction.
