Personal profile
Personal profile
Before coming to Royal Holloway in 2019 I was Guest Lecturer at the University of Amsterdam (2018) and Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Warwick (2017-2020). My research interests include arts-based conflict transformation, dance and choreography, gender and complex victimhood in transitional contexts, domestic abuse in post-conflict, politics and performance. I was co-investigator in the international research project Towards a Moral Grammar of Transitional Justice: Secondary Care Practices to Support Conflict Transformation in Colombia (2018-2020), a public–private partnership between the University of Warwick (UK), Los Andes University and the Reincorporation and Normalization Agency (Colombia).
In 2019 I was awarded a NWO Veni grant to conduct post-doctoral research at the University of Amsterdam (offer declined). Project details here.
A classical ballerina, performance and visual artist by training, between 2006 and 2013 I was an International Troupe Member of the transdisciplinary arts organisation La Pocha Nostra.
