Julinda Nuri

Dr Julinda Nuri is a Senior Lecturer (Teaching Focused) with extensive experience in teaching a range of Corporate Finance, Financial Management and Accounting courses.

Financial Research:

The overarching theme of Julinda's research is in Empirical Corporate Finance research, with particular emphasis on capital structure, dividend policy, mergers and acquisitions, SME finance and sustainability finance.

Julinda has supervised a number of PhD students in the areas of Capital Structure, M&As, firm performance.

She is regular reviewer of papers in several Finance journals. 

Scholarship of Teaching and Learning:

Julinda has specific interest in pedagogical research and is passionate about developing students critical thinking through research led teaching and connections with the industry.   

Julinda is currently supervising a PhD student looking at the use of technology in Accounting Education.

Academic Leadership

Julinda has extensive academic management experience gained via a number of roles, such as Head of Department, MSc Programme Leader, Director of MSc Studies. She also has extensive experience in programme development and validation and has worked closely with UK accounting bodies for programme accreditations.
