I am currently a senior lecturer in the School of Business and Management.  I work closely with colleagues, students as well as a range of external stakeholders, such as professional bodies, in order to achieve high quality degree content as well as the best recognition possible for our degrees and our students. 

I have formerly worked at the University of Aberdeen, Kingston University and the University of East London. Prior to joining the HE Academy, I held managerial roles in both the public and private sectors where I worked both for governmental and non-governmental Institutions in roles that entailed financial forecasting and preparation of budgets.

My research interests revolve around - but not limited - to the financial services' research domain: financial regulation, accoutning regulation, corporate governance, M&As, forecasting and valuation. I am also interested in pedagogic research that aims to maximize the effectiveness of teaching for the benefit of our students in terms of achieving their educational and career-related goals and aspirations.
