My research is on emotional cartography and the poetics of migration. My work is practice based so includes my own creative writing as well as a study of the contemporary poetics of migration.

I am a poet and image maker based in London whose photography and short films have been shown globally. My writing has been published in a range of publications in the US and UK. I was highly commended in the Fish Short Memoir Prize 2023, shortlisted in the Wasafiri New Writing Prize in 2025 and am a Pushcart Prize 2023 nominee. My first chapbook ‘In the Blood’ was published by Ghost City Press in summer 2025. I am a PhD candidate in emotional cartography and the hybrid poetics of migration at Royal Holloway, University of London.

Earlier in my career I worked in the arts and higher education, mainly at the University of the Arts London where I was the Director of Academic Enterprise from 2015 - 2021 and Director of Innovation at Central Saint Martins from 2006-2014. I now am a Trustee at various organisations and mentor for the Cranfield Trust.
