Christina has joined Royal Holloway in January 2023, as a Lecturer in Law at the School of Law and Social Sciences (Department of Law and Criminology). Christina obtained her LLB in Law from the University of Essex, her LLM in Commercial and Corporate Law from the Queen Mary University of London, an MSc in Bioethics from the School of Medicine of the Democritus University of Thrace (Greece), and her PhD from the University of Essex. During her PhD studies, Christina was engaged in teaching Company Law and International Trade Law, as an Assistant Lecturer at the School of Law of the University of Essex. She has also worked as a Research Assistant at the School of Medicine of the Democritus University of Thrace engaging in research projects in the areas of Medical Law, Bioethics, Biolaw and Biomedicine.
Her research work is focusing on corporate accountability and minority shareholder protection. Her current research seeks to provide for a conceptual framework on how corporate accountability mechanisms should be structured to promote effective and sustainable corporate governance practices.
Christina is also an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HE).
