Benjamin Stallard

Ben Stallard is a PhD candidate in Cognitive Neuroscience at Royal Holloway, University of London, within the LiDO Doctoral Training Programme. He completed his BSc in Philosophy and an MSc in Psychology in Education at the University of York, before undertaking an MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of East Anglia. Currently based in the Connected Memory Lab, he is completing his PhD under the primary supervision of Dr Carl Hodgetts, alongside Prof Szonya Durant and Prof Andrew Lawrence.

His research investigates how individual differences in structural neuroanatomy influence spatial navigation abilities. To explore this, Ben leverages advanced multimodal neuroimaging datasets and champions open science practices, specifically through the use of pre-registered multiverse analyses. Alongside his core research, he is also interested in developing computational tools and software applications to streamline and standardise structural MRI analysis pipelines.
