Babette van Gerwen

I'm currently studying a PhD in the Social Purpose Centre for Doctoral Training, focusing on participatory science for nature connectedness. This project is in collaboration with Earthwatch Europe.

My research is linked to my background as a socially engaged artist and ecotherapy practitioner. My art practice focuses on nature connectedness, participation and ecological engagement - I’m passionate about exploring how communities relate to nature and investigating different ways to strengthen and share these connections.
