Personal profile

Research interests

My research centres on working-class, queer and trans* performance, with a focus on solo performance by writer/ performers. I am interested in how queer performance can work as a methodology to challenge working-class representation in performance and make the theatre industry more accessible for the working-class.

I am also a theatre maker and dramaturg and have worked with Camden People’s Theatre, Barrel Organ, Oxford Playhouse and am currently under commission from Farnham Maltings as a writer and performer.
