Personal profile

PhD student at Royal Holloway, University of London funded by the EPSRC.

Research interests

My main interests lie in the field of low temperature physics, specifically in the exotic properties in helium. Currently I am studying 2D helium films adsorbed on an atomically flat graphite substrate. This is a system, which depending on the density of the helium-3, displays an array of different magnetic phases.

Other work

For my masters project I studied the turbulent properties of low temperature helium-4. Mainly focusing on the the friction of a grid moving through the fluid in both the normal and superfluid phases.
