Aleks Rydzkowska (she/her, they/them) is a visual technical artist and researcher. Their documentary projects focus on socially engaged issues, such as women and sexual minorities, endangered languages, refugees, and marginalised artistic communities. In their work, they experiment with visual language and narrative deconstruction. Their research focuses on the experimental implementation of new technologies in projects for social change. Interested in media ethics and the interdisciplinary potential of audio-visual arts, they collaborate with activists and NGOs seeking solutions serving global education.

Currently, they are exploring the medium of the interactive documentary (i-doc) as a tool with the potential for education on disinformation online.
