Collaborating for Young Londoners: Reviewing the National Youth Policy Context and how we align priorities across London

Partnership for Young London and UK Youth Event at City Hall, Greater London Authority, on the 8th October from 9am -2pm at the GLA.

This session is focused on a regional response to the forthcoming National Youth Strategy and is part of the ongoing work of the Young Londoners Coalition a cross-sector network of organisations seeking to collaborate on improving outcomes for young people. The event is generously being hosted by the GLA.

Venue - City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, London E16 1ZE, UK

Purpose of the event - This is a cross-sector event for organisations who are working to deliver improved outcomes with, and, for young Londoners. The session will review the National Youth Policy context and assess how we align our work and enhance our collaboration across London focused on delivering outcomes for young people

Objectives
Policy - To understand the policy context for young people from both a national perspective and how that translates to the regional context in London
Collaboration - To review how we continue to build our cross-sector collaboration across London with Voluntary and Community, Regional and Local Government, Health, Housing, Sports, Arts and Culture and Funders
Youth Voice - To build connections across our youth voice structures, developing best practice and youth engagement across all aspects of the work
Priority Setting - To agree key areas for regional development and collaboration in line with the National Youth Strategy priorities and regional needs
