Description

Dr. Spence is a business ethicist whose research focuses on small and medium sized enterprises, which comprise 99% of all private sector businesses. Interviewed by Professor of Classics Edith Hall on the Royal Holloway campus in Surrey, she spoke about how the work of Professor Carol Gilligan, a former Harvard professor and psychologist best known for her 1982 book In a Different Voice, has evolved into the Ethics of Care and given her a framework through which she can examine questions about how these organizations make ethical decisions.
