Memorial Concert for the distinguished Byzantinist Julian Chrysostomides, former Director of RHUL Hellenic Institute held in the Greek Ortodox Cathedral Church of Saint Sophia, Moscow Road, Bayswater, London. The Arcadia Mundi Symphonic Orchestra performed Ralph Vaughan Williams, The Lark Ascending, conducted by Anastasios Strikos with George Hlawiczka in solo violin, and Philippos Tsalahouris, Julian Suite (Ιουλιανή Σουίτα) for Orchestra, Opus 85, performed by the composer and commissioned by the Hellenic Institute to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the honorand's passing away. The Concert was organised by RHUL Hellenic Institute and sponsored by RHUL Development and Alumni Relations Office, RHUL History Department, The A.G. Leventis Foundation, The Friends of the Hellenic Institute and private donors.
