Japanese dance workshop

Description

Ami was invited by director Disa Kamula to teach Japanese dance, professional actors, dancer, researchers, and directors in Tampere Theatre. She taught the teach the cross gender techniques from the Nihon Buyo and Kabuki tradition: the wild warrior dance, Tadanobu, and the melancholic, elegant KuroKami. She also provided some space for intercultural experiments of traditional techniques. Three of her students made an artistic intervention in the Tampere Shopping Mall.
