Led Teaching and Learning Lab : "Beyond data: A Transformative Framework Integrating Storytelling and Immersive Technology for Sustainable Finance Education". This workshop demonstrated how to bridge empirical financial metrics with narrative and WebXR technology to foster Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) competencies.
Can storytelling and technology transform how we teach sustainable finance? This interactive 90-minute lab demonstrates a research-driven framework that moves students beyond a "profitability-driven regime". Through the multimedia case study, "Ruscombe Artisan Food & Drink Ltd", participants will navigate a real-world "disorienting dilemma": balancing a £90k forest investment against SME financial constraints.
Anchored in Transformative Learning Theory and UNESCO’s ESD competencies, we demonstrate how immersive storytelling and WebXR foster systems thinking and normative reflection. Join us to explore how blending authentic data with narrative joy prepares future leaders for the complex intersection of finance and climate action.
