Description
A voyage on the replica pilot cutter, Amelie Rose, around the English Channel to answer key questions about where plastic pollution is coming from, where it ends up, what damage it causes and how we can deal with it. I was the project poet organizing and writing a haiku a day on social media to raise awareness of the voyage, and the issue of marine plastic pollution. I also joined as crew for the final leg around the Solent and Isle of Wight, back to Amelie's home berth in Beaulieu.
