Literary event, featuring a reading by author Ali Smith and a showcase of works by the purpureus Writers, prose group of PhD students at Royal Holloway, University of London. The reading took place on the 25th of January 2013, while from the group read in order Dimitris Melicertes, Ishita Mandrekar, Eley Williams, Emma Venables and Preti Taneja.
