The transnational linkages of small business owners and entrepreneurs in the UK are rapidly being recognized as a crucial element of continued economic development. India and China are becoming attractive international destinations for many entrepreneurs, especially as the British government actively builds links with these countries. Against this backdrop, the Department of Management and King's India Institute at King’s College London, and The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) cordially invite you to a seminar on ‘Knowledge-intensive Small Businesses and Entrepreneurs in the UK and Internationalisation to Emerging Economies: Drivers, Strategies and Prospects’.

Aims & Objectives
 To gauge why entrepreneurs in the UK are looking at emerging markets and what support is available to them in the UK and overseas;
 To discern the role of entrepreneurs’ social networks in the founding and growth of their transnational businesses
 To discuss how these entrepreneurs meet the challenges of doing business in emerging economies and achieve success;
 To understand the significance of joint ventures and finance for making good deals
